Santina Epps-Thomas is a proud Florida native who moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina in
1994 and has since become a dedicated entrepreneur, community advocate, and leader. A graduate of Seventy-First High School and the daughter of two hardworking parents, Santina grew up as the middle child between two caring brothers, learning early the values of family, service, and perseverance.
She is the proud mother of three beautiful children and the owner of two thriving businesses in downtown Fayetteville, The Real Estate Concierge and The Sip Room wine bar. Through her entrepreneurial ventures, Santina has demonstrated her passion for local growth, economic development, and creating spaces that bring people together.
As the Founder of Sisters With a Purpose Foundation, LLC, Santina has transformed her vision into a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families and the youth. With a focus on mentorship, career development, and life skills, the foundation also serves some of the community’s most vulnerable populations, including pregnant teens, aged-out foster youth, victims of domestic violence, and homeless women with children. Known for her natural leadership, compassionate spirit, and unwavering belief in the potential of others, Santina continues to inspire growth and success in every community she touches. Her life’s work is rooted in the simple but powerful goal of helping others achieve stability, independence, and fulfillment.

Shanna Moore is a proud Army brat and graduate of Seventy-First High School who has dedicated her life and career to uplifting others. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Textile Business and Design. A devoted mother of one daughter, Shanna credits her late parents for instilling in her and her younger sister the values of honesty, hard work, and a deep commitment to helping others.
With over 14 years of experience in the property management industry, specializing in income-based housing, Shanna has built her career around serving families in need. Her professional work has fueled her passion for advocacy and creating opportunities to expose underserved individuals to resources and experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
As a Co-Founder of Sisters With a Purpose Foundation, LLC, Shanna is dedicated to advancing the organization’s mission of empowering families and youth, while supporting vulnerable populations. Her compassion, advocacy, and leadership reflect her unwavering commitment to strengthening the community she proudly serves.

Octavia Carr, a proud native of Fayetteville, North Carolina, is deeply committed to public
service and community empowerment. The daughter of Lester and Rosalyn Carr and the mother of Shantiuna Sanchez, Octavia has always valued family, resilience, and service to others. She is a graduate of Seventy-First High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University. Currently, she serves as the Chief Probation/Parole Officer in Wake County, where she plays a vital role in promoting accountability, safety, and rehabilitation within her community. In addition to her professional career, Octavia is a Co-Founder of Sisters With a Purpose Foundation, LLC. Through this work, she is dedicated to empowering young girls and women by providing mentorship, career development, and life-skills support. She is especially passionate about serving vulnerable populations, including pregnant teens, runaways, aged-out foster youth, victims of domestic violence, and homeless women with children. With her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment, Octavia helps guide Sisters With a Purpose Foundation toward its mission of equipping families and youth with the tools they need to achieve stability, independence, and long-term success.
